Alexa Morgenroth is the Executive Director at SpringBoard Recovery. Alexa leads a passionate team of professionals who are dedicated to helping individuals recover from drug and alcohol dependency. She oversees operations and programming while championing a culture that is ethical, inclusive, and compassionate. Its Alexa’s personal journey to sobriety that drives her dedication to client engagement, she continues to strive to enhance client experience and uphold an effective clinical structure. Alexa believes clients should have a voice in their own recovery, it is important to her that clients feel safe, empowered and are able to pursue their passions on their way to living their own purpose driven life.
Prior to joining SpringBoard Recovery Alexa has held various positions throughout the substance abuse field including at the Arizona Governor’s Office of Youth, Faith and Family where she worked to develop statewide programs to combat the opioid crisis. By combining her personal experiences and background in behavioral health she is able to help clients and families find a path to recovery that is right for them.
Alexa holds a master’s degree in developmental psychology from Columbia University and a certificate of early childhood education from Hunter College. Alexa continues to receive training on trauma informed care and is peer support certified.
Alexa is originally from Long Island but currently resides in Phoenix, Arizona with her wife and two dogs. She enjoys swimming, camping, road trips and pizza. Alexa believes everyone is capable of recovery.
