A lot of people begin recovering from addiction by going through an inpatient rehab program first. This level of care involves staying at a treatment facility for 28 days. During that time, patients receive various types of therapy. If they need detox, a lot of rehab centers offer this service in-house. INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT TREATMENT PROGRAMS
Intensive outpatient programs, or IOPs, are similar to PHPs except that appointments are held in the evenings. A lot of people appreciate that flexibility because they can continue to care for their families and go to work.
