What is Alateen?
Alateen is one of the family support groups that follow the 12-step process. Alateen is for teenagers who have friends or family members that are alcoholics. This group is not for teenagers that have a drinking problem.
Alateen members learn about and follow the 12-steps from AA. Alateen also has twelve traditions that they follow. One of these traditions explains the purpose of Alateen.
