“Springboard changed my life. I came in completely broken, now I can smile and laugh again. I am leaving here a new woman, with the tools and skills I need to resist my addiction.”

We are an alcohol and drug rehab near Sahuarita, Arizona, so we know the need for Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Al-anon, Alateen and SMART meetings in the area.

We remain open and committed to providing critical addiction treatment. For information on Coronavirus (COVID-19), including symptoms, risks, ways to protect yourself and our commitment to patient & staff safety, click here.

There are many meetings available, so we’ve put lists together.

These meetings are free. We are not affiliated with these programs.

What is Alcoholics Anonymous?

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) was founded in 1935 as a support system for those looking to stop drinking alcohol.

AA is open to anyone who desires to stop drinking, regardless of religion, sex, or age.

Since it began, AA has helped millions of people work on maintaining their sobriety.

What is Narcotics Anonymous?

Narcotics Anonymous (NA) got its start in 1953 as a way to help people addicted to drugs become sober.

In the NA organization, alcohol is considered a drug, and many alcoholics attend NA support meetings.

Today, NA holds weekly meetings all over the world.

What are Al-Anon and Alateen?

Al-Anon was founded as a support group to help those who deal with addiction within their families. Weekly meetings provide support and encouragement to members.

Alateen is a group in the Al-Anon community that deals specifically with the needs of teens and young adults coping with family members with addictions.

Sahuarita Alateen Meetings

There are no in-person Alateen meetings in Sahuarita at this time. However, there is an online chat feature in the Al-Anon mobile app.

These meetings are moderated and only occur when an assigned Alateen Group Sponsor is present.

FREE ADDICTION RECOVERY RESOURCES IN Sahuarita, Arizona

Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous are just two of the organizations that offer support group meetings. SMART Recovery is another option people have available to them. They are not 12-Step-oriented at all; theirs is more of a scientific approach to recovery.

Families can also get the help and support they need from attending Al-Anon and Alateen meetings. Many of them are also 12-Step based.
