One man reported exactly that when he walked out to his car and saw another man shooting up. He stated, “When you’ve got someone shooting up heroin not even three feet from your home, in your own driveway, it’s kind of a wake-up call.”

The user was standing in the man’s carport, just a few steps from his home. He reported having seen similar activity in the area before, but it was not quite so close to where he lived. Sadly, he is not convinced that he will never see it again.

While he was there, he apparently stole several items of value from the home. Some were found on his person while others were found in two bags near the front door. The homeless man was arrested on charges of narcotic drug possession, the possession of drug paraphernalia and burglary.

The woman carried the statue in her vehicle as she drove into Arizona at the Nogales border crossing. But border officials stated that it was filled heroin, fentanyl and cocaine. The drugs had an estimated street value of $150,000.

Another bust found drugs hidden in various places in cars, including in the floorboards. But while many smugglers get found out, others manage to make it through border patrol and get their drugs onto the streets.
